Chris Bernards joined Slate in 2023 as a Manager, Finance. He is primarily responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of Slate Asset Management, as well as assisting with the accounting of other portfolios.

Prior to Slate, Chris worked in the Public Audit department at Deloitte before transitioning to a manager role at Jaeger Financial LLP.

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Accounting from Toronto Metropolitan University.
