Fraser is a Partner at Slate Securities since 2018 and has over 25 years industry experience. Prior to Slate he was Director, Retail Capital Markets at GMP Securities where he was focused on the origination, structuring and distribution of new issue offerings that encompass alternative assets, real estate, private equity, and single issuers.
Prior to joining GMP in 2010, he held the position of Senior Vice President at HSBC Bank Canada, running the Canadian wealth management structured derivative solutions group that originated, structured, and marketed structured derivative solutions and products across a broad range of derivative asset classes and risk profiles. He initially joined HSBC in early 2000 as an equity trader on the institutional trading desk. Prior to HSBC he was in portfolio management at SVC O’Donnell Mutual Funds.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
