Brendan joined Slate in 2021 and is a leader on the North American investment team. He oversees portfolio management for the firm’s opportunistic equity and real estate credit strategies across the region.

Prior to joining Slate, Brendan led commercial real estate originations across the Midwest for Annaly Capital Management. He previously served on the acquisitions and originations team for Pacific Coast Capital Partners (PCCP) with primary coverage of Northern California, Seattle, and Minneapolis. Prior to joining PCCP in 2015, Brendan worked for The Durst Organization on One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) managing the public/private joint venture with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He began his career at Hunter Robert’s Construction Group where he led the Cost Department for the New York region assessing the financial risk on active projects.

Brendan holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.
