A topping out event was held for the project team on the 9th floor of Junction House, displaying sweeping views of the Toronto skyline. Brandon Donnelly, Managing Director, Development at Slate, Lucas Manuel, Partner at Slate, and Werner Swanepoel, Multiplex Project Director for Junction House, spoke to the attendees gathered onsite about the vision for the project and the impact Junction House will have on the local neighborhood. The remarks were followed by food and beverages for all attendees in the adjacent lot.
Junction House sits at the gateway to Toronto’s historic Junction neighborhood, which derives its name from its rich history of connecting both people and things from all over the country and the world. The development features a variety of different suite types, including The House Collection, which is comprised of spacious two-story suites and large single-floor residences—the perfect accommodation for the modern family. With an emphasis on convenience and lifestyle, each suite in the building was designed with the intent of maximizing space and functionality. Homes feature expansive outdoor spaces and refined interior finishes, creating a unique offering in this newly established area.
Brandon Donnelly, Managing Director, Development at Slate, said: “From the very outset of this project, we had bold ambitions to realize the full potential of this site and introduce an unparalleled residential offering in West Toronto. This topping out marks an exciting milestone in realizing that vision – we are bringing to life a truly unique, thoughtfully-designed boutique condominium in one of the City’s most vibrant and livable urban communities. We look forward to Junction House being complete next year.”
